The plaza at Evans Towne Center is a public private venture between Columbia County and Meybohm Development Group. The Plaza is designed to a be a walkable multi-use downtown in the heart of Columbia County. The Plaza will be anchored by a cultural arts center and is across from the Columbia County Court House, Library, and Lady Antebellum Park. The 22 acre site will include retail, professional and restaurants. Phase I of the Plaza will included Meybohm Realtors new office, Your Pie and a number of other restaurants, retail and professional space. The first phase also includes a Roof top area that will overlook the Lady Antebellum Park. This area will either be a roof top bar, restaurant or banquet area.
The first phase also includes a plaza that will flow down the hill to the Cultural Arts Center that is expected to begin in 2018. You will also notice that part of Evans Town Center Boulevard is closed so that the roadway can be modified to allow on street parking in front of the new plaza buildings.
